ST. LOUIS – A passenger in a bus that crashed on Interstate 55 alleges the driver drove while impaired.

Nathaniel Brooks filed a complaint on Sept. 28 in the St. Louis Circuit Court against John A. Ross, David Golliday and Lady J & Tony G LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was a passenger in a bus driven by defendant Ross, who was acting in the course and scope with his employment with defendants Golliday and Lady J, traveling on Interstate 55 at or near mile post 156 when Ross lost control of the bus and caused it to crash in the field off the side of the highway.

The plaintiff holds Ross, Golliday and Lady J & Tony G. LLC responsible because defendant Ross allegedly oeprated the vehicle while fatigued, which impaired his driving ability, and while intoxicated; and Golliday and Lady J & Tony G entrusted the buss to Ross.

The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $25,000, plus costs and all further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Amanda N. Murphy of Goldblatt & Singer PC in St. Louis.
