Kansas City Associate Jennifer Berhorst has been selected as a member of the 21th class of Ingram’s 40 Under Forty, which annually recognizes the achievements and potential of young executives, professionals and community leaders. Nominations are based on ethics and integrity, leadership skills, achievement in business, entrepreneurship, managerial status, professional affiliations, board and commission appointments, and dedication to community service.
Berhorst concentrates her practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in the areas of commercial and employment litigation. She has a wide range of commercial litigation experience representing clients in contract disputes, consumer banking actions, commercial foreclosures and related actions, negligence actions, general business and contract disputes and claims of fraud. In addition, Berhorst has assisted in advising and counseling clients on various labor and employment matters, including proper employee classification under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
